How to call an external collaborator as an expert
Is your ViiBE account set up, you’ve logged in, and now you’re ready to start making calls? Great! Let us show you the different ways to launch a ViiBE call, so you can get started providing immediate assistance for customers or technical support engineers.
If you have an Administrator, Manager, or Operator ViiBE account, you can launch a call to a specific person in your company that has a ViiBE account. You can also call a non-ViiBE user by sending a link via email or SMS.
Using ViiBE to provide remote assistance is useful for call centres who want to improve their customer service experience. It is also useful for technicians who want to collaborate with an expert for a maintenance call.
If you would like to call an external, non-ViiBE user, this is possible if you enter the phone number or email of the person you would like to contact.
Call an external collaborator via email
You can enter an email address by clicking on the French flag and selecting the envelope icon labelled ‘email’.
Once you have entered the email of the person you would like to call, simply click the red button that says “Call”.
Call an external collaborator via text message
You can enter a phone number by clicking on the French flag. Then either select the corresponding flag for the phone number’s origin, or select the phone icon.
Once you have entered the phone number of the person you would like to call, simply click the red button that says “Call”.
?Tip: If you insert a number by selecting the phone icon, don’t forget to add the country code!
