Description of user roles on the ViiBE interface: Operator

Each ViiBE account has a role in the system that is associated with a default set of permissions. An account may have additional permissions, if requested.

Here is a description of the role:

  • Operators can initiate internal calls by selecting someone’s ViiBE username, as well as external calls (to someone who does not have an account) using the other person’s email address or phone number. The operator also has access to the history of calls that he or she made
